Welcome to The Colorful Chincoteague. The colors that are and have been known to exist in Chincoteague Pony breed has never been truly documented and The Colorful Chincoteague is attempting to do so. Photo evidence of colors that currently occur in Chincoteague Ponies are on each page. The unknown & extinct page lists colors currently being researched and we are looking for evidence of. For more information on equine color see the links page. Chincoteague color research is ongoing, as is equine color in general, so this will be ever changing.
